At Urdu2, we value the strength of collaborative learning. Our carefully crafted classes encourage lively interaction through enjoyable activities. We form groups based on similar capabilities, ensuring an efficient and effective learning experience with small class sizes for personalized attention. Join our group sessions for an interactive approach to learning Urdu.
At Urdu2, we specialize in teaching children aged 5 and above.
We are also committed to fostering a love for Urdu language learning from an early age. We acknowledge the unique challenges that come with online learning for younger kids (ages 5-7). To address this, we have special sessions designed to effectively prepare them for a delightful language learning experience as they grow.
Classes are conducted online via Zoom. If there are siblings, we encourage the use of individual laptops/tablets for each child for an optimal learning experience.
Classes are typically an hour long, with 30 minute sessions for younger children between 5 to 7 years-old.
We make an effort to accommodate our students’ availability. At present, sessions are scheduled to run throughout the entire week, with no classes during school holidays, bank holidays and Eid. The full calendar for the year 2025/26 can be found here.
We offer various classes where children are grouped based on their ages and abilities.

TEACHING
Here at Urdu2, we carry out a variety of interactive activities in classes such as real-life role plays, workbooks, writing practice and more!
Of course! We offer classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced learners.
Homework is sometimes given after lessons to help children consolidate their knowledge; this could be writing practice, pages from workbooks we provide to all students, or sometimes research for older students.
At the moment, we offer to prepare students between 11-16 for the Edexcel Urdu GCSE exams, which can be done on request.
We will send you our Zoom meeting details following registration, and we advise that each child joins with a separate device to reduce distractions.
To ensure class safety and concentration in lessons, we do require that all participants keep cameras on during the entirety of each session. Parents will be notified if students fail to comply.
To ensure optimum information absorption, revision outside of classes is vital. You can help your child by doing homework with them, quizzing them and speaking to them in Urdu at home. If you need support on how to do this, check out this blog post.
